Young Junior Courses (10-12)
. Study for 3 weeks (July and August)
. 15 hours' language tuition per week
. Maximum class size: 15
. Level: beginner to advanced Programme includes:
. 12 hours of core language study per week (3 hours on 4 weekday mornings each)
. 3 hours per week of project classes (2 afternoons of 1.5 hours)
. Language learning through specially designed class activities for the younger age group, e.g. team games; using puppets, story-telling, songs, project work etc.
. Language work linked to the activities programme, e.g. useful vocabulary for playing sports, excursion preparation
. Course diary - the students keep a record of their work and experiences
. Student folder
. Placement test
. Extensive programme of after class activities

Junior Courses (13-16)

• Study for 2,3 or 4(July and August)
• 18 hours' language tuition per week
• Maximum class size: 15
• Level: beginner to advanced
Programme includes:
• 14 hours of core language study per week (3.5 hours on 4 weekday mornings each)
• 4 hours per week of project classes (2 afternoons of 2 hours)
• Some language work linked to the activities programme, e.g. useful vocabulary for playing sports, excursion preparation
• Course journal - the students keep a record of their work and experiences
• Student folder
• Placement test
• Extensive programme of after class activities
• 3 excursions per week
• End of course certificate and report


English 16+ Course
This course is intended for students
• who are aged 16-19 years
• who wish to improve their English language and
• then to study subjects in English (International Baccalaureate Diploma or A levels) before going on to university.
The course lasts for up to one year.You may join the course for the whole year, or at the start of any module.
The English 16+ course is linked with our International Baccalaureate Diploma Preparatory (Pre-IB) course. Students may transfer to the pre-IB programme when their English becomes stronger.
 
     
 
 
English 18+ courses
General English

Basic Programme
15 hours per week of English language skills study
Standard Programme
21 hours per week of English language learning
Programme includes:
• 15 hours English language skills study plus
• 6 hours Complementary Studies

English plus Academic Subjects
This course is called The Advanced Studies Programme. It combines English language learning with academic subjects studied at university level. In order to take this course you need:
• To be 18 years old or over
• To be qualified for university entrance in your home country
• Have an upper intermediate level of English (IELTS 5.5 or TOEFL 170)
You study 10 hours of English and three academic subjects.

In academic subject classes you are in class with native English speakers from American universities

English for Business 23+
This course is designed for students who want to focus on English for business purposes. You need to be intermediate level or above.
• The courses take place in July and August and last 2 or 3 weeks

• Students must be over the age of 23
• There are 21 hours of lessons each week

General English language students on the Standard and Intensive course 18+ can choose Business English as a Complementary Study


General English 23+
This course is provides a focus on improving confidence and effective communication in General English. You need to be intermediate level or above.
• The courses take place in July and August and last 2 or 3 weeks
• Students must be over the age of 23
• There are 21 hours of lessons each week

In addition, our Educational Services division offers teacher training for English language and subject teachers, testing, and consultancy
